This is an incredible piece of music. As always, Michael you never cease to amaze me with your incredible talents! I am from Vancouver and I greatly wish I could've been in BC Place to see him perform this song live. Quite frankly I found a lot of the ceremonies a little weird but Michael's amazing voice made it all worth it. I feel so patriotic to Canada when listening to this song!

Lyrics wise, I think the new version had the right idea, but went too far with it. Lob out the war stuff and Wolfe, but be sure to throw in more heritage and less geography and general inspirational drivel. Keep the queen and toss in some stuff about the natives, and your set.

This is an incredible piece of music. As always, Michael you never cease to amaze me with your incredible talents! I am from Vancouver and I greatly wish I could've been in BC Place to see him perform this song live. Quite frankly I found a lot of the ceremonies a little weird but Michael's amazing voice made it all worth it. I feel so patriotic to Canada when listening to this song!

Lyrics wise, I think the new version had the right idea, but went too far with it. Lob out the war stuff and Wolfe, but be sure to throw in more heritage and less geography and general inspirational drivel. Keep the queen and toss in some stuff about the natives, and your set.

Legal immigrants to a country are offered the same basic rights as any other Canadian... if you think otherwise, you're just fooling yourself. Just because an immigrant gets a job, doesn't mean that someone who was born and raised in this country was shoved into the gutter to make room for them. There are meant to be equal opportunity for ALL Canadians, immigrant or not.

@joevinc27 that's not what i said. try reading. i was speaking of illegal immigrants who, in canada are granted MORE opportunities than citizens. so get off your high horse a read a little closer before you jump down my effing throat
