why would God only have one son??? mu uncle is better than him he has 5 sons. so how's greater now. just one son, why not 50, how about a wife maybe more than one wife and why kill one son? i can't even continue it sounds so absurd. I shudder! may Allah(SWT) forgive me.
all that father stuff, and all the holy spirit stuff is not workin. thats a path that never happened. thats got to be from some book right? I believe in mind power and one path too god and much more. all that shit would never help me find god........
God does have a Son. The Bible, Church, and Nicene Creed say so.
Jesus was called a prophet by many, but he is the Son of God.
I agree, only God can forgive sins. I believe the Catholic Church is a little off on this one. Priests can pronounce the forgiveness God already gave, but they cannot grant forgiveness of themselves.
But I suspect we are going to be approaching this from very different worldviews.

The Father is the source of deity. The Son and Spirit come from the Father, and so inherit his divine essence.
Three divine Persons, One divine Essence. Very simple actually.
