I'd like to clarify: the visuals are showing Eileen Battye as Mrs Barnum from the Victoria Palace production and the BBC video/DVD. "Colours" is being sung by Deborah Grant who was in the original London Palladium production.
@theatrelady100 You are absolutely right - the only visual version available is the one filmed 5 years later, in 1986, with a slightly changed cast. Thus, here is Eileen Battye as Mrs Charity Barnum (I love her performance - alas, I've never been able to see the original with Ms Grant, so can't really compare). As for the song used here it was sung by me as a tibute to this great show :-)
