Our high school is doing this musical (i get to play the duke.)

I also was able to choreograph our hot stuff.

I really think that this is good.

What a lot of comments! We work to a very small budget (unlike,perhaps,our luckier USA counterparts!)so we do the best with what we have.We aren't a professional company,we're a University Society where all are welcome to have a try and to join in.We have an amazingly fun time rehearsing and putting on our shows which are always well received by the audience.

I'm sure nobody meant to get into a 'we're better than you' fight,it seems to happen a lot on YT! We have fun and that's all that matters!

Dunstable. We are getting the DVD's soon so I dare say it will get onto the tube. But come on mate, these guys have worked their butts off to produce a good show. I mean, you wouldn't like it if I came along and said "Ours was better than yours, our band was far superior, better dancing and singing" would you? Rather degrading, no? Just sling out the compliments and you will get far more back in return.

I'm Lighting for our version of this. we converted our main hall into the nightclub, we used 2 mac250 entours (i know they didnt have them in the 70's but meh) i would upload a video but our bouncers would kill me

Lots of PAR 64's mate. That's the way to go and some scrollers if you can. The macs are great for gobos in the slow songs (can't remember if the 250 entours have rotating gobos or not) and they look AMAZING with full intensity, narrow iris, white pointing at opposite ends of the mirror ball and then during the finale or whatever you can cycle through the colour wheel and get some cool resustls. Don't forget haze too - brings out beams like a charm. What desk you using??

If ya talking to me - fat frog n we had a smoke machine due to the guys getting the wrong thing and yes the macs do have rotating gobos lol

Yeah I was meant to talk to you but the reply didn't work!! lol. Fat Frog, not my favourite desks but it does have the built in game "Frogger" which makes up for it.

I'm a dancer in this number for my drama group's production of 'Disco Inferno', and I much prefer the dancer's outfits in this to the ones we have to wear

although clearly very talented dya not think the singer overkilled the song? i'm completely talentless myself but my secondary school jus put on a production and "hot stuff" was much better wen the song kept in time with the music. also the full length evening dress isn't exactly devilish either. when our dvd comes out i'll send it to ya to show ya how it's done ;) still good performance though
