I needed a portable recorder for filming with wireless cams and with this and a pctv usb i can film anywhere at any time.

I also have upgraded it with 2 gb ram and a 16 gb sd card so for me this is great.

And it does play games. I`ve tried wow, battlefield 2, oblivion, san andreas and more and they actually work. I`m really happy with mine.

The ASUS EEE is a nice pc....I sell them where i work and in my opinion they are perfect for browsing the web and emails...they come with lunix or xp and there is definitely a difference in speed between the 2 operating systems....The price is real good as well.

The down sides are the hard drive size and ram but hey it is a tiny comp and there is only so much you can pop in there. I just purchased a macbook and have crossed over but i recommend the asus eee to a person who travels frequently...
