Don't really agree with him since this wouldn't be similar to the other games. They don't need to reboot the DMC games since they've done enough of that. IF anything, they could've done it when he was starting out hunting demons or as a kind maybe. Theres to small of an age difference between this dante and the one in dmc 3. They look the same age, the gameplay looks good but I think a lot of gamers will be turn off on how they've changed the story. I would play, but not for the story.

It has also been stated that Nero is, though not revealed in full, connected to Dante's family. Also with Nero receiving his Devil Trigger from Yamato the same way Dante received his from Rebellion, it has been hinted that Nero is in fact either a third son of Sparda or Vergil's son, which would make sense, since Yamato chose Nero to wield it's power, like Vergil before him.

The music was everything, Dante wasn't a violent character just because he did alot of violent acts. He was a badass and if anything he toyed with most of his enemies. To a lot of people, DMC4 was kind of iffy. Mainly because of Nero, but that really turned out to be a good, interesting game. Nero was a badass! What they've turned Dante into, is the antithesis of everything that Dante, Nero, and the rest of the crew of the previous games ever stood for! But in this case he's being remade as the director's love letter to himself, and that's why it's completely unnecessary. It has also been stated that Nero is, though not revealed in full, connected to Dante's family. Also with Nero receiving his Devil Trigger from Yamato the same way Dante received his from Rebellion, it has been hinted that Nero is in fact either a third son of Sparda or Vergil's son, which would make sense, since Yamato chose Nero to wield it's power, like Vergil before him.

Capcom has been sucking lately. Are they asking to fail as a company? Really? Killing Megaman Legends 3 and blaming it on fans is just the start. They even failed to include ANY iteration of Megaman in MvC3 or UMvC3. Now, they're looking to kill off Devil May Cry by ruining Dante. I predict poor sales and I'm practically praying for it. Capcom needs to get their fucking shit straight. Rebooting is not the answer. A proper sequel is. We already have a prequel. Otherwise, what was DMC3 for?

@ShadowDeep How do you know its a terrible reboot? Based on what? The game play is good. There is no Dante plus punk movement. Its not the basis of the game in any way. He just said it was going on when Dante was a young kid. We are we are used to him as an older guy. It makes total sense with Dante's personality that he would be into that as a kid. @InGodshands7 You obviosuly havent played any of DMC titles, in case you have then your simply a clueless idiot, The game was always good the way it was, no change needed to be made, and the fans and gamers aren't obligated to accept any change if it destroys the very soul of the game they used to, This DmC is just a random mish mash of ass crap and completely tor away the ideia , plot, story and characters of previous DMC titles.

@RokLinen Wow, throwing a Bitch Fit already without playing the game? I have played ALL of the DMC titles. They are great indeed. But its people like you who dont realize that SHIT DOES NOT ALWAYS HAVE TO STAY THE SAME! As I play games, I like to see new things! This isnt the year 1999 or 2000. Btw, DMC4 sucked, no replay value, and Danted looked like a Gay Cowboy.

To a lot of people, DMC4 was kind of iffy. Mainly because of Nero, but that really turned out to be a good, interesting game. Nero was a badass! What they've turned Dante into, is the antithesis of everything that Dante, Nero, and the rest of the crew of the previous games ever stood for! He explained the punk movement of the 80's, then said that was what was cool now, while saying that a game, that came out in 01 mind you, was basically out dated.
