He's saying that the scientific community can't say "100% Yes/No" but that evidence is trending toward the conclusion that humans are part of global warming, that it'd be very unlikely that we're not part of it, but that a very important question, "To what degree do we contribute to global warming?" is as of yet far from being answered.
The Randi guy made an excellent point that Ive been thinking the whole time Ive watched these videos: You cant convince someone who does not want to be convinced. Some religious people (and I fear its MOST religious people) simply DO NOT WANT to give up their religion. You could give them all the evidence in the world and it wouldnt matter because they will never give up the religion for any reason ever. They ask for proof but when its presented they ignore it and keep on believing.
It's not a belief gene, its a critical thinking one in variance of expression on personal matters and thinking outside the box as to the self reflection on culture and paradigms you been brought up with critically, at least with variances of belief in my family and friends and viewing their families thats what it seems to be not necessarily a belief gene but the opposite, some people just don't do it, or they don't seem to be good at it, and still others seem incapable.
Thanks a lot for these videos. I always await my subscriptions update with anticipation, hoping that more amazing meeting videos have become available.

First question: Are humans a cause of global warming?
Answer: Well its not a scientific fact but yes the evidence is accumulating and we dont know what the effects of humans are on global warming.
This answer makes no sense what so ever!

This works similarly with therapy. You cannot provide effective therapy to those who do not want to be changed.
