  • @TheBubakazouba i started with dan browns method averaging around 1min 30 seconds, Then i learnt F2L and i can now do it in 30 seconds with ease.

  • why do put the cubes in those black boxes?

  • @freddyglovebuilder so that the guy wont see how the cube is messed up

I thought I would die, from how fast they're going!!

  • @JustYourShadow someone did it in 6 seconds. LOL !

  • very crazy!!!!!!!!!!

  • dude this is awesome! i couldnt get a rubiks cube in like 10 days let alone 10 seconds!

  • omfg they need lives

  • omfg :O

  • whats the name of the guy who did a sub10 single? Brendon Vaseline?

  • @daniel0731ex

    LOL FAIL

  • what kind of cube usually they use in competition? wondering bout that...

  • @3uq1n1m0d 3×3×3 regular rubiks cube lubed by Vaseline, but most people would recommend silicone oil spray for lubrication

  • @ImdaHomie1 r u sure? i'd bet that none of them r using regular rubiks more like diy's edisons and those things... and probably not lubricated wth vvaseline either... probably silicone

  • @ImdaHomie1

rarely do competitors use rubiks storeboughts, i believe nakajima uses a rubiks DIY, but most everyone else uses chinese or korean cubes

  • How to be fast like them???

  • Learn the Fridrich method which has over 120 algorithms? lol.

  • no only 78

  • Is it? Im only going by the internet and the videos that have been posted up of the possible algorithms.

  • Mon record est de 11.44 secondes ( j'ai 16 ans )

  • My record is 57 seconds

  • hey,where r u, yu nakajima?

    did u not compete?

    i love 2 see u solving d cube.

  • where is him?

I didnt see him at anywhere..

  • owh i c...he's not into cubing anymore..

guez he's found sumth that's more to life than diz,i guez..

  • o ~~~

    I see

  • 5:08

  • Did not you compete? Why?

  • who won?

  • I like how he dress at 2:35 , it seems like he just came back from work

  • Of course i am not asking about the timers.

I am asking about what kind of abilities it requires to fasten your time in that high level competition.

    Dexterity or calculating ability?

  • lol both... but usually dextirity is more impt

  • @SonOfEx0aces its actually your "look ahead" you could have fast dexteritly and be able to move the cube fast but add tons of turns that are not needed dexterity is still really important but look ahead is what is most important

  • Sorry for the noob question but what is more important at this leve of competition, In wich aspect are the champions decided?

Dexterity in the hands or beeng able to find the solution with as few moves as posible?

  • You don't notice the huge timers? The only thing they look at is how fast they solve it.

  • in germany ?

  • Comment removed

  • who was the winner ?

  • Breandan Vallance

  • ouh .

    who's he ?

  • I don't know :)

  • he's jammyman3014. pretty well known cuber :P

  • ouh .

    wokae . thanks .

  • that guy with the long hair pwned! he PWNED

  • lol he fixed the description

he put winers instead of winners

  • what are they doing at 2:53? Meditating?

  • I assume they're trying to concentrate & get ready for a very important solve.

  • YEEHHH GO BRENDON!

  • I heard from my Japanese language teacher that she saw Yumu Tabuchi being interviewed on the Japanese news last night (Sunday, Japan time). Do you have any clips of him during this competition?

  • damn.,too fast.,

  • so skills!!!

  • Damn long hair!!! i noticed in his face and hand that every time he's in 5 secs he rush his moves cause he feel that he have to move it more faster...damn man my 3x3 is 59 secs what was that hahaha

  • Is that Erik?

  • yes , thats erik , the 3x3x3 world record holder .

  • damn .

    they're good .

    i am only a sub 30 avg cuber .

how good is their memory to learn all the shortcuts .

    wakakaka .

congrats to all of the cubers in the final .

  • u can do faster right?

  • Damn Breandan Vallance!

    I knew it he won

Watch his sub10 average of 12video

  • man i get that a sub-10 solve is really good (especially since i'm still stuck at 36 lol) but man they shoulda kept quiet until everyone was done, at least as a sign of respect..

ruining the atmosphere, ya know? you're all tryin ta focus and everyone's all chatting and crap..

and i'm also wondering how to go that fast..lol i must be solving them in some inferior way xD

  • Ya i agree, that was excellent he got sub 10 in competition but its just like golf, even if the first person off the tee hits a hole in a one, the other competitors are still entitled to the same quiet atmosphere the player before them recieved.

  • Damn. The first one was a seriously locky solve.

  • Gratz Man

  • hey yu everybody knows ur the best

  • nakaji were is the part 2 of this video.? who is the winner.? nice 2nd solve for breandon....9.25...

  • Average the best not the single

    1. Breandan Vallence 10.74

    2. Erik Akkersdijk 11.52

    3. Tomasz Zolnowski 11.64

  • i could sit with one of them for years and never suss it out haha

  • ... philip espenoza is in that video rofl. he pwned me at sandiego open 2009 :( WAHHHAAA

  • waaaa.... if only i lived in germany i coudlve went to dusseldorf to meet the best cubers in the world...

  • Nice promotion on youtube 3800 views ago. This video response is very incredible. angel9864 it's a grand master cuber tv show wow !!!! hehehe

  • Part 2!!!??

  • First, he didn't tape this.

Second, the camera man spoke, if not himself, the person beside him was speaking perfect english.

Third, chinese website proves it ain't Nakajima's video.

    Nuff said.

  • you lose???

  • Holy shit Breandan is such a badass!

  • Exciting!!!!

  • If only the awesome Yu Nakajima was there, he would kick these people's butts. COME BACK TO CUBING PLEASEEE!

  • No I don't think he would.

  • he was there -.-

  • no, he wasn't

  • dude, he got this video from a chinese website, he wasn't there

  • you dont like this guy at all, do you

  • no, I like and respect yu nakajima, except I hate the people who don't even realise that nakajima didn't go. He wasn't there, and this video was from a chinese website, and he was just promoting it, which is nice.

  • I still think you should have went... :)

  • idk Y but the seconds seem the pass slowly when you wat'ch them on Youtube. When you're solving it yourself, time flies.

  • wait who won???

  • If only I could cube that fast. :-(

  • sweet solves. nice to see that sub 10 on vidoe. whoever that guy was (not sure sorry) will be very happy you recorded. ps. what was wrong with erik... a 14 solve!!!! wtf universe are we living in

  • Nice to see vidos up already. It was very funny to be at a championship, as always. /Gunnar Krig

  • Are you kidding me dude? Sub 11 is amazing in any competition, but to do it in the final round of WC with all the pressure is even more incredible. Breandan is a very deserving champion. Do you think you could do any better?

  • no i dont think i could do any better... thats why i said yu could cuz i know for a fact he can

  • where is Yu?..

  • i didnt see you at the competition :( i went but i didnt participate

  • lol i see harris chan

  • haha a metal looking cuber^^ that guy rules

  • lol, I know

  • VERY exciteING!

  • Nakajima, YOU COULDVE BEATEN THEM SOOO EASILY.

  • Nakajima went but he didn't compete?

  • erik akkersdjik at 14.05! WTF?

  • don't worry, that time didn't count in the average anyway... still bad though

  • good, i've been watching your averages and your almost sub 10. its awesome that solve didn't count.

  • Did you realise that you couldn't win as you stepped up to do your final solve? Congrats on 2nd!

  • Yeah I did, but it's important to be able to still stay focus and make the best out of it at moments like that :)
