@motorstereo - Are you talkin' about "Streets of Crocodile"? There's nothing wrong with paying tribute - or imitating - beautiful pieces of art. This animation by Lauenstein bros. is incredible, and beautiful - so I really must assume Bros. Quay wouldn't mind being used as inspiration.
If you like this watch the original Brothers Quay animation that this was derived from. Tarsem has no shame!
