first as below poster stated squeezing the area will only help kill your stupid fucking cat, second of all it would of come out as easily with a pair of decent tweezers if you pulled slowly. @kririr777 Not always true.. I pulled one out of my cat, of course I found out all the DON'Ts after I was doing performing 'surgery'.. she came out JUST FINE. The part you have to watch is NOT breaking the warble which can poison the inside. Its all about HOW you do it. Not EVERYONE has the money to go spend on an animal at a vet. People who truly care try to take action..

@kririr777 I thought they actually protected the flesh inside so that they themselves wouldn't get damaged? I saw a comment in some other video saying that the botfly releases some sort of chemical/liquid onto the flesh that surrounds it which causes it to not rot or get infected... so I think the wound actually heals right away. But I get what you're saying. I'm sure the cat's doing fine though.

I had the same experience 4 or 5 years with my cat. she had one on the top of her head. I didn't know what it was. So i grabbed the tweezers and when it stuck its whatever out, i grabbed it and pulled it out. later on i found it it was a bot fly. unfortunately about a year later, she was hit by a car. You are NEVER supposed to do that. The proper procedure for removing those things is shaving the area, making a small incision on the side of it to make the hole bigger, and pulling it out with something along the lines of tweezers.
