Why two pokemon bro. I understand it's possible, but personally I find it to be boring focusing all the experience on one pokemon. I'm actually kinda obsessive with my team. I keep them in order of level and HP. Don't have to be that in order, but it bugs me when I see people have one pokemon in front the whole game, absorbing all the exp. Then again I've used A LOT of pokemon many times. I try to change it up.

@DarklyNostalgic you know i learned something from playing diamond pearl and platnium and its good i train like 3 pokemon and use others for HMs and its helped alot i do that with all my pokemon games. but when i first started i was like 6 pokemon with my starter always being 5 lvs higher than my team. 2 or 3 pokemon teams work really well since the games are getting better with pkmn lvs

Ugh, I hate Bugsy's Scyther; it keeps using Focus Energy and then taking my Pidgeotto out with constant Quick Attacks (I chose Chikorita as my starter). It drives me nuts. Trying to get Pidgeotto to about level 23, 24. Hopefully it'll be fast enough to attack Scyther first with Quick Attack.

meh, seeing only one pkm is fine imo, seriously in the 1st and 2nd generation (and third, if u dont choose grass) it is recommanded that you focus on your starter till he is 36ish so you can steamroll, and you get the hang of grinding a bit so you dont end up killing urself later trying to lvl something
