What's wrong with this album? I think its there best yet. I feel as if they got everything they wanted out of this album .. That's the vibe I get from the album I mean
MushroomHead is older and more original then Slipknot so they win. Don't get me wrong, I think Slipknot sounds a lot better but I have much more respect for MushroomHead
I honestly thought Mushroomhead was a more death-core outfit, by the look of the masks. But this is nice. I like Slipknot just as much. But... overall... im the biggest Marilyn Manson fan around.

caught them in Jackson Ms again. they really cut this show short this year. last year was a longer show. but man face melting metal. they are just an awesome band to watch! even if you are not a metal head. you will appreciate the show. i am a metal head and brought some friends who arent really into metal. their jaws were dropping. the energy this show on a sunday night... awesome!

@Bonchika If you compare every MRH album you will see that they change more or less everytime they release new stuff and yea the industrial elements were awesome but personally i like all of theire styles.
@Bonchika Kiss had make-up that looked like masks way back in the 1970s. The Phantom Of The Opera wore a mask when video was still in black & white. Performers have worn costumes since the dawn of performance art. Masks & face-paint were used in plays during medieval times. Shamans have worn masks during religious rituals while dancing and chanting since many centuries ago. This has been going on in every part of the world and during every era of recorded history. Who invented the guitar thing?
@Bonchika The earlier material that they got famous with was originally with JJ Righteous (John Sekula) on guitar who left the band several years ago & past away last fall. The newer material is lower tuned & 7string orientated where their earlier stuff was 6 string in E flat. So the tone, feel & dynamics is different now.
@Bonchika I don't think it is fair to ask who "invented" it. They are all in the same age group. They wil all have grown up with movies like Friday 13th, etc. I'm guessing it is just a cultural thing. There have probably been other bands that had similar ideas but never made it...

@Bonchika Kiss had make-up that looked like masks way back in the 1970s. The Phantom Of The Opera wore a mask when video was still in black & white. Performers have worn costumes since the dawn of performance art. Masks & face-paint were used in plays during medieval times. Shamans have worn masks during religious rituals while dancing and chanting since many centuries ago. This has been going on in every part of the world and during every era of recorded history. Who invented the guitar thing?

@Bonchika The earlier material that they got famous with was originally with JJ Righteous (John Sekula) on guitar who left the band several years ago & past away last fall. The newer material is lower tuned & 7string orientated where their earlier stuff was 6 string in E flat. So the tone, feel & dynamics is different now.

@Bonchika I don't think it is fair to ask who "invented" it. They are all in the same age group. They wil all have grown up with movies like Friday 13th, etc. I'm guessing it is just a cultural thing. There have probably been other bands that had similar ideas but never made it...
