This video was in 1999 and his chains in this video aren't real. He did sell most of his gold for real to cover the cost of some surgeries he had and if my memory serves correct, this Conan show was really his first real comeback after being away from t.v. for a while due to being sick.

Good to note: when Mr. T goes on Letterman, he gets pissed off enough to just stop talking. When Mr. T goes on Conan's show, he can't talk because he's too busy laughing.
