It may be time to reevaluate the definition of marriage... Each couple should decide what's right for them - only then can they be happy as a couple. You can't be happy as a couple if you're trying to be someone you're not.
On that note... I really do not believe that sex (or no sex) is the reason for the high divorce rate... I feel that the high divorce rate is because we are looking for our partner to make us happy and in reality the only one who can make you happy is YOU!

Just because other people may not want the same doesn't mean something isn't respectful or honest between the two people. A lot of secular vows involve pledging yourself to the person in good and bad times for a lifetime, but do not include forsaking other people - if all involved consent, there is no betrayal of vows.

What people do in private is their own business, but I would highly recommend that you do not have sex with people whom you do not know where they've been and what they've been doing. These people could have diseases that condoms cannot protect you from. Good luck with that! Consequences can be cruel.
