Sweet, man. I think thats what we need too sometimes is to force us into progressing. When I got out of rehab, they didnt have the script for my power chair in for like a month and I was forced to use my manual they sent me home with. When the power chair got there, I almost wanted to send it back but I kept both for a month or so, then bought a manual. the power chair sits in the corner now unless I used to recline to do bench presses.
@tatt00d3 I have that same bed too and my p/t asked me if I could stand with my knees against the railing, and I could, with the chair right behind me, so I get up for a bit using my arms to hold me up for a few seconds, and then I sit back into the chair.
@tatt00d3 I do the exact same thing too man... when I have my knees against the bed I lean over and do a stretch... at first it really pulled on my lower back, butt and all behind my legs. it was a bit painful at first but now that part of my body is more relaxed and limber than before, just be careful and do just enough that you body can take, take it slow... oh yeah, make sure you stretch enough or your body starts to lock in that position... thats what usually causes spasms

@CandideSF also I want to really thank you for being a PT. because without physical therapy I wouldn't have gotten to where I'm at now. also my PT was so damn strict, I think she was just a miserable person idk. I think she thought I was faking or something, but I couldnt move much. In reality I was trying my hardest everytime cause I didnt want to stay in the state I was in. long story short I passed with flying colors & my PT became frens, she would buy me lunch every other day. so thank you
keep working hard dude hey i got one question my cousin always says after 3 years hes gonna walk he has 1 year left do you know what will happen will he just get all his strength back or somethin i dont know what his condition name is but he got shot and the bullet is stuck in his spine he is paralized from the waist down
@BoricuaLG got to a channel called... parawalk ... hes a paraplegic complete that uses two canes and leg braces to walk... hes is very good in my opinion... seein his videos is what inspired me to get rid of my wheelchair, which is why I made this... I've seen a few other paras that use this same technique but I do not remember the channel names... he also has a website teachin paras how to walk... parawalk[dot]com ...I think it was, hoped this helped
