Fake Christian...you make it harder for those of us who really believe in God. Thanks for being judgmental towards others and forcing your opinions on a country that is obviously smart enough to see through you. Burn in hell, you heretic.
Fred Nile and your NON-TRUE AUSSIE band of geek followers, join 'Fred Phelps Sermon' from the Westboro Baptist Church. Wow.. 2x the Freds, both blind, dumb and need a good spanking + both in their 80's.
Open your eyes to our Multicultural life from Cronulla to Auburn to Oxford Street to Leichhardt.
Respect others and their way of AUSTRALIAN life is COEXISTENCE..!!
obviously a distraction you intend for people to loose interest in facts and look at some noisy entertainment - maybe some will, but maybe, just maybe, some will get involved and write to politicians in support of a better outcome for all.
Here's to the success of the coming election so that Fred can continue to represent Christian values in our community as well as allowing us the freedom to say what some of the other posters here have said (even if it was hatred from some). Go for it Fred - thank God there is someone like you standing for what is good and right!!
Isn't he entitled to hold his view just as you do? and then since its a democratic system he puts his party's policies out there and see who wants to support them?
Not sure where you see a problem with this the freedom or the point that Fred gets elected and you don't???
I dont think people are saying fred isn't entitled to hold a view...everyone has that entitlement. but he's suggesting his views become national law, and you cannot apply christian values to an entire nation. that's dangerous, and potentially destructive.
where have you been the past 200 years? Australian law comes from traditional Judeo Christian concepts that give us the freedom you seem to love to express your views and not only hold a free choice of religion but also debate it, that is the constitutional law we enjoy because of the Christian heritage established in the many hundreds of years of laws here in Australia and prior to that the British Monarchy/Governmental system .... do your homework.
the past 200 years, i havent really existed for most of them...but that's irrelevant. once again, im not saying he doesn't have the right to express, debate or have his views. my point is that the policies he puts forward are based on christian values, yet not all people in the country are christian, therefore, his policies are innappropriate. i'm not saying he should be disallowed from existing, i'm saying his policies are of a low calibre
Which of his policies are supposedly "low calibre", better education for our young people, better roads? Holding councils and governments accountable? wanting police to keep the community safer? wanting the justice system to work justly and now just lock people up for appearances of doing something? Did you know Fred Nile has even voted against politicians getting pay rise when the other politicians voted for it, do tell.
i do admit, i used a generalisation there. not all his policies are low calibre. and i didnt know that about him voting against pay rises. i was referring to policy based on christian dogma and specific parts of the bible, which truly have no place in national law, as not all people are christians. christians morals are not universal, and as such should not be national law.
What? anyone democratically elected by the people of NSW sits in parliament and their choices determine laws over us all, are you saying that if members of a political party hold religious views (be they hindu or buddist or agnostic etcetc) that the laws they vote on should only apply to people with the same belief?
absolutely not. members of parliament are free to hold religious views. but when the policy they make is based on religious ideals and dogmatic beleif, they should not be made into national law, because as i said below, those religious ideas do not apply to everyone. national law should be a moral consensus
how can you say the principles of Christianity are archaic, all of them???? Love others, get along with others, obey the laws, do not murder, do not steal which of these do you have difficulty with???
once again, i did not accuse all christian principles of being archaic. those are common moral ideas that exist OUTSIDE of christianity. but issues like homosexuality are based on specific parts of the bible, and it is taking parts of the bible literally that i have a problem with.
Fred puts up his policies and he and his team ask for people of NSW to vote for them on published policies. for 25 years he has worked towards that end, often with law abiding Muslims - did you know that?
I don't believe Fred or any candidates have done wrong by any law abiding Muslim, simply raised concerns that some extremists calling themselves Muslims show flagrant disregard for the laws. Did you know that?
It's funny how so here accuse Fred of hatred - yet they openly say here that they hate Fred. Strange. Go Fred - all the best for the elections with God's blessing on you.
the family value policies have a bit of a strange name. i always saw them as christian values, and this group is trying to spread christian values. no one group should be trying to indoctrinate the world with their own values, that always ends bad. when a group really really thinks they're right, it's never a good thing
Yes lets all vote for christian democrats so we can deport anyone whose not a white christian man and so the country can collapse and die because there are two few people to sustain the economy. Vote the Unity Party, where every person, is an equal person.

I love this country. Fred Niles has the third biggest budget behind only the coalition and Labor, and gets 2and a half percent of the votes.

The general prinicpals of Niles seem to be fine. But then he has these extreme right wing ones which he throws into the mix I could never agree with
-same sex marriage ban
-blocking Islamic migration
-outlawing flag burning
Fred Niles is one electorate away from Jo Macarthy

Many of those are also found in the Koran you know.
cleaverwielder 4 years ago
i do know that, and if an islamic cleric was a member of parliament trying to push those koranic ideas as national law, i would be equally angered

You missunderstand me the comment was directed at robomac, do not steal, love on another etc are all included in the Koran.

Possibly one of the most hypocritical men in Australia.
He and his party actively discriminate against:
- homosexuals
- Muslims
- anyone who enjoys an alternate (and consenting) sex life
- anyone who wants to watch pornography in the privacy of their own home...
... and yet today has complained about alleged discrimination against Christians by Muslims.
You are an irrelevant joke Fred - shuffle off quietly and lie down
