  • lusitano, portugal rulles

  • latino,s are very good horseman, they are hard with there horses but well trained

  • you guys forget that horse years ago use to go for hrs.

  • well anything is better than mexican dancing horses.. i love lusitanos :) they are very pretty (L)

  • He's lovely, I went to Golega 2006 its like any huge event with animals you see the good and the bad side, I saw a poor mare with blood all down her sides from the horrendous spurs some old cruel guy was wearing.

  • you can tell he's tired, thats why he's not keeping his rhythm. Surely its better to do 30 minutes of perfect passage, than several hours of sub standard passage. Who is the horse btw? do you know?

  • If a horse doesnt want to do something it wont. Its a 1500 lb animal...It can do whatever it wants

  • dont be stupid im a horse ridder.. i ride for 10 years horses and if they dont want to do the things its useless to keep pushing .. keru vos ver tds em 2008 na golega

  • I think it's pretty cruel and rude to ask a horse to do that for over an hour. Collection is like pushing weight. Did you ever push weight for over an hour? If not, don't ask it from your horse, if you really consider him your partner and not your subject.

  • I agree. Yes horses are capable of it, and yes it looks beautiful, but don't ask them to do it for hours? Horses i know actually like doing collection when its for a little bit, it's like reverse psychological

  • Este cavalo tem uma escola..mt bom mt bom

  • The Lusitanian is LIKE NO OTHER HORSE As the Romans put it Its a horse like no Other Made for working not displaying, The Lusitanian Horse was so incredible that the Roman's Adopted him because there was NO comparison to ANY OTHER horse True Facts!!

  • Lindo!!

Úm bem haja para quem monta assim!!

  • kind of weak in the hind end tho...

  • as written in the text: the horse had been doing this for hours in a row - wouldnt you be a bit tired?? The horse was extremely strong. To do these transitions for more than 1 hour is fantastic - and it also did canter changes, pirouettes etc.

  • Seems pretty odd they would strain a nice horse like that for hours then...that's a great way to bow a tendon. You can tell especially in the piaffe that the horse isn't too happy about taking much weight behind. I'm not saying it's not a nice horse, I just think it needs a little more training.

  • yes. well - its golega. all horses are tested to their limit and beyond. we also wondered about their legs. but all legs seem to be very dry and fine. i would never put my own horse through something like that, but its impressive still that the horse can do it. more traing? i think it getting plenty of training.... .. as you can see . hrm hrm.

  • that's a beautiful performance and a real dream 4 me to achieve with my lusi as well... guess we'll never get to those standards... but don't get me wrong, i wouldn't trade him for the world :-) love him to death XXX

  • no this was not a sales horse. just a nice one we watched at the fair. I think the horse and rider are very famous. i think it is a working equitation horse.

  • Hey :) I'm from Portugal :) And I think Lusitanos are so beautiful! What's the name of the horse/rider? :) xx

  • Was this a Luso sale? If so, how much did this horse fetch?!

  • this is an beautiful horse and with good maners in a ring as crouded as this one.

  • I'm from Portugal too (just writting in english so more people can understand) and i love our horses, lusitanos are gorgeous! If i could i had one, i've seen almost all of your vids and you're very lucky to breed them :)
