  • haha im sorry but was that a trash bag for a seat? haha brilliant lol i wouldnt restore it id leave it just the way it is beacuse it attracts more attention :)

  • interesting car, but it fails my most important requirement: you can't pick up chicks in it XD

  • Really interesting! I heard a similar engine running in a Raleigh van at a recent classic car show - don't they sound great!! Coming from Nottingham myself, I love all Raleigh products.

  • great video adn great car,bsa trike owner from denmark

  • Sounds great ! As a Raleigh Safety Seven owner myself, its nice to hear such a healthy crackle. The original three-wheelers have no less than TWO mufflers . What are the engine mods- carb, etc ?

  • Glad you like it! Carb is a Solex downdraft, with a bespoke streamlined inlet manifold (I have an original SS one too which has loads of bends, restricting the flow). Ports have also been polished, and since making the video I have converted to 12v with replaced coil and SU fuel pump, and have re-wired everything in traditional cotton-braided cable. She now starts beautifully on the button!

  • that was pretty funny i will admit i did believe it at first. how much is it worth.
