I am not talking about what ethnic group belongs in Aus the most. I don't care where people are from, I am solely concerned with how much a person, and in some cases it is cultural and so widens to a 'people', focuses on a particular ethnic history and identity, at the expense of other identities and histories.

Western countries like AUS are based on a constitution, which itself is based on an idea of equal individuals interacting via moral relations.

to Khrystene - I know first hand as I have Greek background, that when a cultural-ethnic group focuses too much on it being a necessity to marry within the same culture-ethnic group then this leads to a tacit acceptance that their own ethnic group is superior and automatic disrespect comes to the "other".
