God. Listening to this music makes me feel like im in the walking dead. Like im exprencing what Shayne feels emotionally and how rick feels when he kills his best friend...a good example is "18 miles out" when shayne see's the walker in the field walking by its self. I swear makes me want to cry about the sorrow. God I love this show!! But it wont be the same without shayne. Dale is someone I feel sorry for to.

Shane was my favourite, he just got confused sometimes and went a little crazy, but who can blame him, he was just trying to protect the ones he loved. He was one of my favourite characters.

As for the spoiler... if you read the comic, you know that should have happened at the campsite. I think the next episode is going to focus on the guest/hostage. But Shane is definitely a goner in the next three episodes. Its kinda sad too because it really looked like he was coming to his senses after Rick saved his life. I almost felt bad for him until I saw the preview for next week and he was still plotting on Rick with Andrea. Now im ready for his closeup.

Zombie apocalypse aside... '8 Miles Out' was a big turning point for 'The Walking Dead' in terms of the emotional turmoil amongst the characters (note: Zombie apocalypse aside). I was starting to find many of the lead character less likeable in season 2 but now I think the writers are doing something right with Shane and allowing me to further understand his emotional plight.

Point: I give a huge credit to WYE OAK - CIVILLIAN and that final shot of Shane watching the lone walker in the field.
