My M3 right now can beat a stock CSL. And yes my M3 has a 100 shot nitrous with the button on the steering wheel. Nitrous just adds colder air to your intake creating more O2. Its not a big deal like the movies make it seem. Alot exotic cars have nitrous here in Miami. Your proberly from a small town. Get wit it.

If you knew anything about cars you would know that the csl is not that much faster than a stock M3. In fact they have the same motor. A stock M3 with NOS will destroy a CSL. I would not pay the extra 20k for the csl model.

CSL does not come in white. There only 17 more HP than a standard m3 but they are alot lighter cause they removed the sunroof and alot of other useless options. So if you do the same to a regular M3 there is really not much of a diffrence.

CSL interior is much nicer, in more of a "race" way. Intake, Cams, and DME tune are different, not to mention the headers.. Then you have the exterior.. CSL wheels/front bumper/trunk/diffuser.. These are just some of things the CSL has and the regular E46 M3's don't have.

yea but the csl is 20k more than the standard m3. If you put 20k into a regular m3 you can have a much better car. You can get a csl carbon fiber roof as well as trunk and hood from ebay for less than 5k. Then add a supercharger for 6k and you have a much lighter car which much more hp for a lot less. There are also wheels out there that are lighter than the csl. HRE offers a all alunimum kind.

That's not the point.. it's the authenticity of the car itself, and it's limited production which makes it such a sought after car. Yeah, you may be able to get those parts from Ebay for less than 5k, which I don't recommend, but the parts won't be authentic CSL parts. No you won't have a much lighter car by buying ebay csl parts and getting HRE wheels. Yeah, of course there are wheels lighter than the csls'.. but that's besides the point.

Unless your buying the car as a show car and want to put it in a glass case I dont really care about authenticity. I bought my M3 because of the drive not because it was made by BMW. If BMW wants to charge me 20k more to make my M3 lighter and give it 17 more hp then they can keep that shit. I do not care about the bragging rights. My cars do see the track and my M3 can murder a csl. If the csl came supercharged or turbocharged that would be a diffrent story.

I have an 05 m3 , also white, it looks Exactly like this car.... its NOT a CSL, its just the CSL boot lid, which i also have.

P.S it doesn't have the CSL rear diffuser which is a dead give away.

Its a CLS bootlid. You can spot fake Ms really easy, they arent as stocky. I also see them from time to time and laugh. People spending the difference in the M car on stupid kits to make their cars look like an M. Should have kept that mod money and bought the M car.
