@followgood I find this logic unsettling. To be good out of fear of punishment is screwed up. You only do good so as to avoid pain? I'm an agnostic. I do good for the sake of doing good, because it makes others feel better and when I help others I feel like I accomplished something positive. But fear is NOT love. Take illegal parking (not a sin, right?) Do you avoid illegal parking because you love the police? No, you do it because you're afraid of police punishing you. Fear is not love.

Once they learn why they shouldn't do bad, then they do the good because they know it's the right thing to do. Fear is just a stage. Once you pass it, you can enter into love. Do you honestly think that we're all at the same level? Some of us are closer to the finish line than others, and those ones should not put down those still 'young' in spirit.

I just wanted to comment that I agree with most of what he says, but I disagree with the implication that whatever happens will happen on 12-21-2012. While it can be calculated that the Earth will be damaged at some point I think that a random occurrence will cause it so that the ones with the truth in their sould will transcend. Being knowledgeable of the pending changes point in time will only create illusions.
