  • Does gpsfix have to be on 1sec in order to function speed properly?

  • Looks like a fantastic watch am thinking of buying one.

Only question, what happens if you try to use it in thick tree cover, or indoors will the GPS loose signal?

  • @spergAdam last winter i tested x10 in thick tree covered forest while sking and gps worked well, but usually it takes over 3mins to get gps signal, I bought X10m for military service and after 2-3 month use it breakdown (screen stoped workin). parts that will easily break are the bezel, strap and the screw which keeps battery cover and a strap in place.

  • How long does the battery last.

  • my personal favourite watch is by nite watches. Buts it's the Nite MX10

  • in sweden it costs 5500 kronars wich is ALOT!!

  • @mirtaed123 altitude can also be measured using the gps signal ;) usually thats the way its done on better watches

  • @realistik33 haahaaa.. great way to say it nicely but straight forward. although i suppose that this watch would even inspire a couch potatoe to walk down his driveway to see the numbers change on his watch, but that would be just abuot it. this is a serious watch and quite popular among military and outdoor users. Can it monitor heart rate though?

  • and i got one. It's really useful for my job.

  • I've gotta get myself one of these I like the way the charger just clips on :)

  • fuckin weirdos spending so much on a stupid watch ridiculous

  • @KiiNgofTheCastle Lmfao, who do you think you are ..? The price you spend on such a watch is actually great considering its features. Now stick to your damn $10 watches...

  • whats the difference between the military and standard versions?

  • @conrad2468

dark face, the background of military is black, word is light green when button is pushed, so that during operation, people can't notice u. esp, night operation.

normal is light background and character is black.

  • Baro altitude data would be shown incorrect because of pressurized cabin, am I right?

  • yes

  • What's the point in having that watch unless you've been abducted?

  • Cheap watch easy to break (even the military version) and service is terrible.

    I would not recommend it.

  • i found the video reassuring. after reading a lot of the reviews, i felt a little weary of buying it, but i have it and it's nice and the video is sweet. i may need the same distraction on my plane ride next week.

  • just got my military version, very happy its awesome

  • First of all, do the military actually use this, or did they just tell u that to make u want to buy it. Secondly, what a f*cken waste of money. Thirdly, if you are resorted to doing things like doing this on planes to find a use for the watch is was clearly a completely unnecessary buy.

  • @mtanz0

What is the matter with you? Child.

  • @mtanz0

I am in the military and a lot of our guys use it. In some military units it is standard issue but I will not disclose what types of units since this is a public forum. I have one and use it often. And since I am an avid fisherman I have found tons of use in this watch. Marking great fishing spots or points of interest are just a few of the uses. I wouldn't recommend this watch to anyone not into the outdoors or non-military. It would be total overkill for your typical couch potato.

  • i got one military ver. also. and still confused how to use it?! LOL! do i have to setting up the GPS? because im in outdorr but the gps symbol appear like i was at indoor?! how should i set up this watch?

  • is that the military version of the x10 ?

  • wow, thats cool, just bought suunto x-lander last week. found this watch too, but it cost 2,700.00 in my currency, phew!

  • Whats the difference between the military option of this watch and non military?

  • Boring, better you could test the Globalsat GH-625M

  • loll...Nice watch man..

how much did you buy it for?

  • I bought it for $511. It is around that price, the non military version with positive display though can be found for around $400.

  • Man, that's an assload of money!

  • but you get an assload of technology!

  • Hello !

Does the watch show a map, or just coordinates when you use the GPS ? :)

    That's a sweet Watch !

  • nice vid!

  • the plane computer says 800 km/h the watch says 125 kh/h... what's going on here?

  • Actually 125Km is the distance travelled, the speed is in the upper part of the display where it says 886Km/h when the planes monitor showed 881Km/h so they matched almost completely.

  • Better get GPS 101...

  • im getting this watch later haha.. im excited
