I think he's religious, catholic or Christian, it's because he was so religious as a child that brought him to the theory of ancient aliens. He read books and books investigating on various religions. And he found out that most religions believe that beings descended from the clouds and claimed themselves as gods and left, but promised to return in the future. From memory Afro-Asiatic languages are split into at least 6 sub-families and of 220 odd languages only 3 are found outside Africa - Arabic, Aramaic, and Hebrew. These 3 belong to the same sub-language consisting of around 22 languages, the other 19 found only in Ethiopia, which suggests the language was formed in Ethiopia and spread to the Middle East. I'm not saying I'm a true believer in Ancient Astronaut Theory but a lot of what has happened in the past is often difficult to explain or has evidence indicating improbable contruction by man. For example, off the shores of India, miles under the ocean are structures built with precision engineering (right angles, tunnels, massive blocks hundreds of tons) and this structure wasn;t underwater just before the last ice age. 10,000 years ago.
