God...when this guy, the father...Robert Reed came out on this show wear'in a full perminent hair-do that should have been a hard-core God-damn, red-flag to everybody...especially in the late 1960's! Would you go camping with that weird dude? I thought Alice was overtly gay but that guy just makes your skin crawl. I wouldn't doubt it one bit if he wanted to take Bobby into the tent after dinner and "play a touching game." lol Now that's what I call, "FAAAAR OUT!" I'm gonna' be sick! lol
@iamtheinserter ..quite easily...station wagons in the late 60s and early 70s had bench seats...the front and back seats both faced the front of the car, while the very back seat faced the rear window...for Chrysler station wagons. GM station wagons, all the seats faced forward. In a Ford Station wagon, in the very back, were two smaller seats that faced each other that could fit 4 small children, thereby allowing 10 people to ride, not 9 in the aforementioned Chrysler and GM models.

Florence Henderson is SO FUCKING TINY (5'3") compared to Robert Reed (6'3") at 1:39! Also, when they all had to go to the bathroom, when Alice said:
"Well, it's not a bad idea!"
I expected Mike to follow them saying:
"You know, it ISN"T a bad idea!"
At least they all went so we'd all be spared from hearing what we heard in Tommy Boy:
"I gotta go to the bathroom, Daddy!"
