  • i ordered this from Stringtown Supplies in U.K. around 94-95. but mine didn't come with ANY of that cool stuff inside! they just took it all out and sold it separate! those english assholes!

  • That's not a bad little collection. Better to use in cold weather than metalwear with a limited fuel supply. And real cutlery to eat real food with.

  • This is actually a Finnish mess kit. At least a copy of a Finnish one made by Savotta. And also, Swiss=Switzerland, Swedish=Sweden

  • @MHbasschannel

Oops. Dunno why I posted that it was Swiss, as I've never thought that.

  • Cool kit only thing i don't like about thi skit is that you would still have to have an additional mess kit in order to cook with. That woul dbe great for just eating out of but for cooking the food and water would take a metal dish of some sort. Thanks for the review though

  • I cannot find this product! Where can I get one? Thanks

  • I purchased the same kit from the same store, but mine did not come with a salt/pepper container. I have no clue how I would use it either. It's set up for a boy or girl scout where food is dished out. I agree, it looks cool. I've used components from this kit to make my own cooksets.

  • Sweet mess kit you got there
