@sammytav They efforts were futile due to the fact that the Rothschilds funded both sides of the war and Hitler himself was a Rothschild. Yup it was a premeditated war just like all of them ever since The Great war.
Every ones efforts are futile when supporting mass slaugther esp based on a lie. Look at the world and tell me which was war wasn't futile. People who do not know the worlds TRUE history is doomed to repeat it and the ones in "power" will make sure to use the ignorant.
@sammytav ps Wars don't happen people let it happen...Hitler didn't come into power people voted him in...Stalin didn't murder way over 20 million people his soldiers did...agent orange did drop out of the sky it was GOVERNMENT that did that to their OWN soldiers and people. This is how they run their business. But just because they do doesn't mean we should like it or support it. I hope I'm being clear.
There have been few times in history when, in the course of one day, so large and powerful a nation has become so royally pissed. The Japanese paid dearly for *that* little adventure. Oh, did they ever...
canttouchis the odds were in the U.S's. favor, WWII started in 1939 the United States didn't want to get involved at first. After Pearl Harbor the U.S had no choice but to enter the war. Britain and Russia had been fighting Germany for the last 2 years. So when the U.S came in they were fresh. The Nazi's and Italy had been fighting to so the U.S the odds for them, and when you bring in the H Bomb in to the equation.... it's no the contest the U.S was the big dog.
Brilliant pairing of FDR's *complete* and masterful speech with still photos that stay on screen long enough for viewers to study them. I especially liked seeing FDR's draft text with bits crossed out and rewritten---my 5th grade students will enjoy seeing that even great writers have to edit!
Lest we forget. Remembering Dec. 7, 1941. Remembering all those lost. Remembering all those who went to war and came back never to be the same. May God continue to bless America.
comparing Roosevelt and Obama as socialists/big government presidents would be a good comparison. Comparing the two as "great leaders" is politically biased assumption. He'll follow of Roosevelt's is to cause the recession to prolong itself by government spending as Roosevelt did with the New Deal. Props to Roosevelt for winning WWII! Our current president refuses to acknowledge this is a war on terror, "just like Obama is today"? Please, let history work itself out before writing it.
hes a goos speaker, ill give em that, but i think hell b a terrible pres. at least thats the road hes goin down. shame too, he had sooo much potential to to great things.

@MrThiefykern War is terrible. But it stopped Hitler and the Nazi's in WWII so I really don't understand how you say war is futile.

Obama cant come close to stacking up to roosevelt
D00dle15 2 years ago 8
Gosh i hate you Obama bashers.
But look at the diffrernce back then and today or any other time. No president will be able to stack to FDR unless we have such a dire situation.
mailman354 2 years ago 2
Obama would fall down and suck his thumb if this happened now..
