I had one for my second child - FANTASTIC! The first child went in the old-school rear carrier, but I always felt bad that all she could see was Daddy's rear end, and the things that seat did to handling were scary! We upgraded to a bike trailer, which is still the preferred solution for long bike rides. This seat is compact and the kids love it! Handling is almost identical to normal riding. The only issue is that I have to ride splay-kneed to avoid hitting the seat.
Hi - no - it's mounted on the static-piece of the headset, below where the handle-bars enter the front-tune/head-set - weeride certainly doesn't move with every turn!!
OK--is that mounted ON the base of the handlebars, and if so, does the wee ride move with every turn? REI bikje shop was concerned that moves of the handlebars would make riding unstable & unsafe...
I like that one you can see how bub is doing and it looked like little guy fell asleep on dads arm. Much better idea.

That's funny that he fell asleep. Kids will sleep anywhere!

Fair concern - but irrelevant to the weeride.
