I agree it is all i see on comments is about how "Gay" a game is because u just dont like it. im begining to think that games are getting into peoples live to much, i know it has for me. And I'd like to know how a game is gay in anyway.
This is a 6 month old post but I can't help it roguetwink, WoW isn't 10 million different people, not even close. So many people have multiple accounts, plus the people who get paid to spam don't count, plus the chinese powerlevelers and farmers. There are probably only about 3 or 4 million ACTIVE players [That play at least 3 hours a day, 5 or more days a week]. It's not 10 million different people

My WoW char is a 70 UD rouge on magtheridon and i started playing Lotro 24 ATM but Lotros quest are much more fun unlike wow when you have to kill 5-20 of that and you get a green item in lotro they are trickier and also funnier with alot of Rp in the quests, so it depens it can be from geting som milk to anf farmer to kill Big beasts thats the fun thing and laso a lovley community on the server snowbourn i play on :D

this game is awesome! iam now lvl 13 and have a wow char of lvl 55, but this game is so much finer than wow, i like the main qeust, its a good story, in wow there were only kill 10 of that sort of beast qeuts, lotro is better than wow

You have to buy it then pay a monthly subscription. If you pre-ordered, you could pay a lifetime fee of $198 or opt for $9.99 a month. Since that deal is over now, it will be $14.99 a month for you.
They have PvMP which is Plaver vs Monster Play. At lvl 40, you can take your char into the pvp zone, or at lvl 10 you can enter as a Monster. A Monster is like another character that can only be played in the PvMP zone and you lvl it up and buy skills with DP. You get those for completing quests. There is no pvp outside that zone. Stables in each town, like Flight Paths in WoW, and you can buy a horse at lvl 35. This game is very quest based.
Ya I played WoW for 2.5 years, since the last beta. I got to lvl 70 8 days after xpack came out. I got into LotRO beta and haven't touched WoW since and don't see myself ever going back. The WoW xpack sucks bigtime imo. They took the worse things of orig WoW and built an xpack off of it...
i think the "level 70" ruined it and it becoming a far more casual game, and the instances being less of a challenge, but hey. I'm getting LOTR tomoro, after being a guild that are on vashj (2'nd phase 2 generators down) we will see how things pan out.
I (after I checked abit) recommend on buying the 3months fee, because its cheaper and with a game like this, no way that you wont play atleast 3months.
