The name of this piece is Tico Tico (not Tiko) and is a chorinho, not samba.

I don't think it was the high note of the chord.

It sounds more like a lower note that is out, causing the higher, more unstable, pitch to sound bad.

If the lower notes were more in tune, then the highest note would have sounded fine.
