i was at range a couple months ago alot of the guys there with ar 15 rifles. what i noticed is that they couldnt shoot for shit even with their acogs and eotechs. this was only a 200 yard range and they couldnt even hit the clay pigeons they laid out 100 yards out. instead of spending all that money on upgrades ar15 owners should spend money on shooting lessons
I agree with you sir. I see guys with their Bushmasters and M&P 15's with ACOG and Eotech sights unable to connect. I built my AR from a Delton kit and put it on a Spikes Lower. There is a small amount of horizontal wiggle but it has no affect on accuracy. With a 9:1 barrel I had tight groups with 64 grain green tip 5.56 using iron sights @ 100 yards. I purchased a reflex sight because I want to make a humane kill when I take it deer hunting.

Haven't shot with the new utg iron rear($23 but real solid) But my cheap NcStar Mark III is puttin the cheap stuff(non russian, american brass only) 55grainers in about 5-6" kneeling with the front supported on the back of a folding sports chair. Prone with a bipod I could tighten that up real nice. People need to learn shooting basics for sure.
@babyeatsdingos@BAbukkakkis and minus the cost of the scope since I already had it Im just cracking $600 altogether. Doesnt make sense to have 1400 in a rifle that you can't shoot well does it? That money can go into the ammo as those prices are on a steady rise.
@aroccop You sound like a tacti-cool dude.. If you don't know what the Dominator mount does then you shouldn't be pissing with an EoTech optic. Know your equipment and do your homework

Good advice for AR15 owners -- put the little baby-round .223 BB-gun, non-stop-jamming-piece-of-junk-AR15 away and get a REAL rifle with a REAL round like a rifle chambered for 7.62 and such as an AK rifle that is rock-solid RELIABLE and you can TRUST your LIFE to!!! Folks, put the little 12-year-old-girl-AR15 rifles away and get a REAL rifle like the AK!!!

Dude no offense, its not about how good the build is, it's about how well you can use it. And quite honestly, I can tell you right now this is no where near on par with my AR-15. My rifle is set up to be better than what our guys are using overseas. None the less, decent build but if you are using this as a defense firearm it would be okay, but other than that, don't call it the best when I actually have the best.

I think you should mount your optic higher, get a bigger scope and add a flashlight with laser. Then your tacticool AR will be off the scale!
