Didn't know what to think of the album first few listens, now it's really grown on me, and this is some of their best work to date. Amazing how they are constantly evolving.
@bigfoot9754 Haha that's a bit harsh man. Obviously redplague is joking. Only a complete moron would like The Kaiser Chiefs more than Radiohead. Ruby Ruby Ruby Ruby! Do it Do it Do it To me!! Hahaha Kaiser Chiefs!! Hahaha!
This album blows my mind more and more with each listen. Unlike like anything I have ever experienced. and it is an experience. open your mind and your heart and let radiohead take you on a journey to somewhere special.
About half way through the song Lotus Flower i started to love it. I've loved this song since i first heard it. Maybe my ears are infertile because the rest of the album doesn't want to grow on me. Daily Mail is great but it's not on the King of Limbs i have.
Saw Radio Head crank this tune out on the Colbert Report this morning. I think I have listened to it ten times today. Great tune for sure. Thanks Radio Head !!!!
As with multiverse theory I struggle to comprehend that some humans on this planet genuinely equate these boys to the likes of Coldplay, Muse etc... The Beatles, The Smiths, Radiohead, this is the stuff of sacredness, most else just background noise...
I fell in love with OK Computer the very first time I heard it. When Kid A came out, I hated it, I thought Radiohead had gone off the deep end. It wasn't until Amnesiac came out that I went back and listened to Kid A again and fell in love with it as well. Now, I've learned to abandon expectations and just trust their genius.
The truth is, Radiohead is the closest thing we have to the Beatles, and in my opinion, no other band is even relatively close.
@TheTexanCanadian I think that's true, when you think about songs like "strawberry fields forever" or "I'm the whalerus". I think they become their own musical genre, kike late Beethoven or Mulatu Astake.
@MystikRealmz your brain could evolve to understand anything... If you were trapped on a deserted island with any 12 songs, they'd grow on you too, like fungiiiiii

1st time listening to this album - Wow, this is Radiohead? This is all they can do in four years?
2nd - Hey, it's okay, but not as good as their last one.
3rd - I actually really like this, it's quite good.
4th - A true great album

It's crazy how much this album grows on you. It's like your brain has to take time to evolve just to understand it.

@MystikRealmz First time I heard it . . . The songs all sounded exactly the same to me.
Now I can identify each one of these songs in a heartbeat.

Radiohead plays FORRO in this song. A genuine brazilian rhythm. Probably influenced by Mauro Refosco from the band FORRO IN THE DARK.
