I was at Orange County Raceway in Calif. When Dave Bebe went 6.99 in a funny for the first time.He backed it up to make it official.From then on it was common to be in the 6's.I blasted Golden Earring in my Camaro all the time.Great video.Thanks

No I did not take the pics, I love drag racing, mostly funny cars and every time I see a pic on the internet I like I save it. I have well over 10,000 pics saved up .

Hey you and me both. Been to Irwindale, Pomona, Lions and of course Orange County. I to remember the 64 and even the 100 funny car events. I remember them putting them on the track all at one time and firing them up. Still go to Pomona get the same seats every year. Never miss it. NHRA is the best.
