And through the good and bad times... You have always been there.... We hold each other close... You tell me is alright..Hahahaha!!! :) Oh my! 80's is the greatest year of my life... :)
i thank my dad for being an 80's rock fan because this music is the best, none of my friends know what they are listening to when i play on my ipod =)
my fiance lovessssssssss 80's rock music. I use to never listen to it but now i am a huge fan! Such a great song. I wish that singer would put more meaning into their music
It doesn't matter who sings with Jonathan Cain and Neal Schon...it's clear that they write great music...listen to Never Walk Away and After all these Years on their 2008 Journey CD Revelation...great tunes
now why can't the kid that drives through my neighborhood blast this for all to hear instead of that gangsta crap stuff that sounds like it was just released from hell?
Well said lipan02. I'd give ANYTHING to turn on a radio and hear something like THIS coming outta the speakers. John Waite, Neal Schon, Jon Cain......all legends and deservedly so.
Hate to say this but...if ya have to pay for it, then it ain't love. LOL Just had to say that. Ya know, I always liked Bad English, but I sure don't remember this song. Hmmm? Good though.
The song got a lot of radio and video airplay. It was a top 5 hit on Billboard singles chart. Maybe the success of "When I See You Smile" overshadowed this single just a bit?
David Cook and John Waite.............I musta read that wrong. I got 2 words, NO WAY!!! John Waite, his career speaks for itself. Where will David Cook be next year, forgotten!
David cook could cover john waite, but i dont think i would be as good..... their voices are too different. i agree cook's album might be good for rockers but he wouldnt do well if he tried to cover someone like john waite...... so saying this is one of my favourite song of all time...
I agree with you guys. I'm not sure what could be done to this song to make it better. It's a freakin' homerun and they don't make em' like this anymore unfortunately.
John Waite is a modern day poet who won't be appreciated until his death. I love John Waite and his tunes. Price is incredible. John Waite should be inducted into the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame on his contributions to Rock n Roll music. John deserves the Hall of Fame....
I am gonna take a chance here and mention American Idol David Cook could cover Waite's stuff. Heard his pre-idol stuff, a poet too, like John or Sting.
I dont know about the Idol album, but rock
music fans are in for a treat when he releases his own CD.
Oh gee whiz, sorry. Then exactly what the hell is it? The bangs are a bit styled but short and the rest is a frizzled mess. I would call it a mullet. Anyone else care to give it a name. Is John dead or is it Cory Hart? Please help me for the love of God.
Thanks for posting, this is the first song I heard & saw video before I started to listen this band more, it became one of my favorite bands ever!!!!!!!
I love this song, better than When I See You Smile in my opinion. One of those supergroups, like the Damn Yankees were, the hybrids of great 80's bands.
i couldn't believe it when this made number one i had spent the past 11 years listening to the babys and waite only to hear missing you make number one in 1984
the point being that the public normally buy shit not quality like this
Thanks for posting this Song. During the 1980s I heard this song on the Radio I never knew who sang it or the title of the song.
Only the lyrics of the song kept playing in my head though the years. After browsing Youtube I was listening to 80s Rock and came across Bad English - The Price of Love. It was this song that I remember from so long ago. Once again thank you for posting this on Youtube.
Neil Schon and John Waite are two kick ass artists. What do you get when you put these two bad boys together? Why its non other than Hair-Metal legends... Bad English! I sure remember this band when I was little at the time. I sure hope they reunite or something. Long live this group and many more!
i enjoy this song....much...
