agreed. take the hooks out if at all possible. those things don't just rust and

drop out next week. they've got barbs and a lot of them are mfgd to withstand salt water

corrosion

@avery721 why would you have to vent him. they're only in 27 feet of water. and over the course of an hour and a half the fish would have had time to decompress his bladder anyway

i live in naples that isnt that big my dad is a pro angler we go 60 miles out and catch sharks off our yacht that is a nice fish though it is like average for a goliath grouper

thats a nice fish me and my uncle catch those of of big carlos pass in ft. myers never any quit that big but around 60lbs...very nice fish
