There was a fire in my kitchen last night and it was spreading really fast, I ran downstairs got a bucket of flower and just started dumping it all over the stove and part of the wall, it put the fire out out pretty fast though there is still alot of damage.

@djburgerjoint I know but the baking soda was in the cabinet above where the fire was so flour is all I could get and it was already spread out of the pan. I did turn off the burner but that's how I burnt my hand.

You may not be allow to use water.... but you CAN use a wet towel / rag to cover the pan and seal off oxygen. K fire extinguishers rock too. But doubt many people have them.
