The movie was good, right up until after he escapes. Then it had a couple cool action parts. But everything else was crap.

The original had a MUCH better story.

Just came back from watching the movie and sorry I wasted my money. Although there were some nice effects, there were too many holes. Foe one, the only time the Earth Stood Still was when Klaatu left. I don't even think I'll waste my time when it comes on cable.

I agree with slash. Why Keanu is considered a good actor puzzles me. They could just use a cardboard cut-out of the guy and do voiceovers and it would be just as believable.

The only role I can say I actually liked Keanu in was "Bill and Ted"
