  • Nice car bruh

  • Same question as @EJSMITH31 - where did you find that pod. That's exactly where I want my gauges, but every pod maker wants me to install them inside the A pillar - too distracting there. I'll check Summit.

  • Just browsing and ran across this vid, I'm in Knoxville as well. Got a 91 Coupe and whats left of a 67 Coupe. I been considering picking up some Super 44's for the notch, but I don't know how the tone will be since they are going to be bolting straight to the long tubes and have turndowns. Scared it'll sound like crap instead of smooth like this.

  • I like the sound. I just installed super 44's on my notch two weeks ago. checkout my video sometime. Craig

  • @419forest Man you have one slick ride. My car needs paint and suspension work as well as a much better tune. Where are you located in Tennessee and where did you get your tuning and paint work done. Thanks George

  • @overheadcam32 I live in Memphis. Tuning done at dynospeed racing (memphis). Paint done at Jimmy Supreme's in Olive Branch, MS. thanks for comment and viewing video. Craig

  • hey man wered you get your gauge pod i like the way those look

  • summit racing I think? Its been awhile since I ordered them

  • sounds awesome

  • Been reading the comments. Yep street tires are why the T-5 is still alive. My T-5 had over 250,000 miles on it when I put my 331 in. It finally broke about 2 years later. From wear, not from power.

  • It was power shifted into third MANY times. How long one will last under these circumstances is up to how good the driver is too. Plus, their like 5.0 blocks. One will break at 500 HP, another will hold 750. Luck of the draw.

  • Y in the hell do you make a video in the rain WOW dude at least make dry pavement

  • Yeah you are right. I wasnt aiming for all out wide open anyway. I was trying to capture the exhaust note with the super 44 flows

  • Ah thats ok. It breaks traction on dry pavement too lol

  • cold tire day here in fla as well lol

  • simple solution to those people problem...pass their ass wit that badass car! haha nice fox man

  • Thank you sir. Too tell you the truth, I fear this car lol. It needs more rubber on the rear and better suspension lol

  • Some 275's or 295's dr's will cure that problem lol

  • looks like a virginia inspection sticker and its dead!!

  • I live in TN now so I dont care lol

  • Where at in TN? id like to take a ride in this monster lol

  • east tn

  • i live in knoxville

  • @spyderpaintball95 me 2, and i own 3 fox body mustangs

  • @JameZCody hit me up then lol.

  • @spyderpaintball95 are you from around knoxville area too?

  • @JameZCody yeah i live over off Washington pike.

  • @overheadcam32 hey man, i live very close to knoxville tn, what part u from? I own 3 fox bodies just like this. Btw , nice car!! very nice sounds great.

  • Street tires has alot to do with why the T-5 is still alive, but you should bust out the video camera, powershift 3rd gear and let us know how things go...

And just cause your running rich, dosent make it "safe" basicaly your washing down the cylinders with fuel if its too rich, which will cause premature ring failure

  • 500 horses with a stock t5-------good luck!

  • Yes that is what I have heard lol. I still have stock tires and suspension too lol. When I upgrade those components I will expect to add tougher tranny too. What do you run?

  • Very nice

  • dude thats a freaking awsome setup!!!!

  • Thanks. Its still a work in progress. lol

  • only 500rwhp?

    at 15 psi?

    what intake you running?

  • Running trick flow street heat. My problem is the tune in the car. It is WAY too RICH. Standing behind the car burns your eyes out at idle plus I caught flashes of light on video at dark coming out the right exhaust pipe. Got to have a better tune. My tuner wanted to stay safe but its not working. Plus I only have a B50 block, wish I had done a 4 bolt but the affordable boss wasnt out at the time.

  • ah ic

im sure you can get well over 600+ on this set up

im getting pretty much the same setup except with a holly systemax II intake, and a custom cam.

  • If you can get a 4 bolt block, then you have no worries. That is my only regret. But I have been told that the B50 block can live a long time at the power level I am making if I dont abuse it, which I dont plan to do

  • im getting a probe block and bottom end set up 6 grand for the block + bottom end

    331

about another 3 grand for heads/intake

    not sure about cam

+ t-56 will run me probly 4 grand lol

  • thats one bad ass fox man i would say A + on the build

  • thanks man

  • Dude that thing sounds great.

    Real nice ride tho.

  • What is the top speed of that thing?

  • I have no idea! I am riding on 18 yr suspension and 12 yr old tires lol! Dont plan on finding out for awhile!

  • sounds really good

  • Whats the part # for the cat-back you have?

  • The cat back is an American Thunder System that I got from summit several years ago. I just cut out the old 40 flows and welded in the super 44's. Someone may offer the super 44 in a cat back now instead of the old 40 series. I just didnt know what to buy. I knew I wanted more sound coming out the back of the car instead of under it. I didnt want to spent S800 for a borla or bassani and not like it, so I experimented. Hope this helps

  • Thanks that helps alot...Car sounds good!

  • I just can't decide, if like the sound of the Super 44's more than the original 40's. Each one seems to have its advantages.

  • that things looks lie it lifts of the ground

  • gorgeus car sounds great!!!

  • thanks, appreciate the compliment. It has 110000 miles. I bought the car in 1992 with 18000 miles. It belonged to a couple that were going to have twins. THe car had to go. Lucky for me. The paint is to the point it needs to be redone and the headliner is falling but the rest of the car seems to be solid. The rest of the car is stock lol except for a set of 3.55's in the rear. I am riding around with 500rwhp on an 18 year old suspension lol. TIme for some upgrades in that department.

  • This video is actually crystal clear on camera software program. Youtube would not let me upload the whole thing as I had 4min of footage and when it did load it looks blurry. Any suggestions?

    thanks

  • ya get the other 3 plus mins of footage up here...and at lest one dirve by at 2k rpms
