But I also believe(just an opinion based off all the books I read) that even if Britain's entire navy were to have been fighting in the Pacific, they still would have been hard pressed to beat the IJN in battle due to lack of expierienced pilots(the Japanese had been waging war for about a decade) and aircraft carrier support.

this was about the American campaign in the Pacific, island hopping. We had no Empire to use the indigenous, peoples, except our brave Native Americans, Russia only fought the Germans, and damn near lost. If not for American food, and equipment. We also kept Britain fed and supplied as well, before we were attacked. The people in this movie were REAL, our Uncles, Fathers, and Grandfathers. Same gene pool, don't forget that. @nilo4339 I would not entirely agree with this, but the movie Letters from Iwo Jima does make me uncomfortable. There was an entire spectrum of Japanese collaboration to their military ideologies. One thing to do is to watch and read primary sources from those who served in the Japanese army; unlike many Nazi's, the vast majority show incredible regret and pain. Of course many were psychotic murderers, but many more were institutionalised and brainwashed.
