just got one in the mail today,they are discontinuing this model, got it for 359 , could not believe it, the quality and the sound are amazing, one of the best I have ever played.
@fillecool2 I have the viper 401 and I love it..but the only reason I got the 401 and not the 1000 deluxe is because of the color lol...I would aim for the 401 if u want a decent price guitar tht carries a crazy metal tone \m/
How would you rate this against the Viper 300 fm?Do i need to go all out & get this 1 or can I get the same thing out of the 300?I play metal & heavy rock.Is it a drastic difference?I mean they both have the same pick ups.

I suggest You to visit the musiciansfriend page, since there You can find lots of comments about instruments. That can give a kind of opinion about the guitar, but the best is if You can personally try it.

Deluxe are manufactured in Korea while lower LTD's are being made in Indonesia. That makes a difference.
