  • tony christies voice is as good as it ever was, in my opinion he is the most under rated singer in this country

  • don lets us down

  • This isn't a Hawley song. Its a Pulp song. It was written, I think, for 'This is Hardcore', but wasn't released.

  • It was written around the same time as the stuff on 'We Love Life', or a bit after, I think... I like the Pulp version better.

  • its a pulp song from the soundtrack of the movie 'notting hill'. the song didntt featue in the song. its one of the best pulp songs ever. i like this version of it though, but pulps was much better

  • This is more like it, Tony! When you sing songs that have a plaintive lyric and feel, I can almost believe it!!

  • Stunning. True, it's got Hawley and co.'s masterful prints all over it but there's the undeniable ghost of Orbison running through it too. Loved Christie since I was a kid, brilliant that he's doing something so cool now.

  • I always felt that Hawley was Roy Orbison's secret love child - Still do

  • Wow, this is brilliant!! It's got Richard Hawley's fingerprints all over it, but that just adds to it.

This is as good as anything Tony has done. I hope the new album is up to this standard throughout. One up for Sheffield.

  • Tony's not from Sheffield though :(

  • I prefer the original.

  • Where I can I hear that? I've tried itunes e.t.c and I can't find the bugger.
