I'm writing my first novel at age twelve. I have always wrote books but now that read back in them I find them to be a bunch of kid material. So I did my reading and found a book called shiver that inspired me to write a book called life. I hope to get it published by new years next year.

Your really writing your first novel at 14? Wow, I'm the same age and started my first novel earlier this year. It's realistic fiction but I really like fantasy. How did you find agents to send your book to?
It's a good start, but could do with some work. There's a slight over-reliance on exposition - you could improve it immensely by using events, locations & actions to tell the story rather than dialogue and description. But it's encouraging that at the age of fourteen you have the discipline to finish writing a 30,000-word novel. That's more than most university students manage.
