@Guitarity thanks! All you need is a USB keyboard to trigger the sounds and a decent computer with enough ram. You can find the exact specs at the spectrasonics website. Its not too demanding on CPU because most of the time you will only play 1 or two voices simultaneously.
Didnt know they did head banging in those days. Trillian sounds far better with someone doing it with skill. It's worth it just for those few real sampled basses.
I played with Eric Persing back in Highschool. He was fantastic on his Pro1 and breath controller. I even bought his Juno six from him (that was the last time I saw him or talked to him). If you ever catch him at NAMM or something, ask him about "The incredible and ever-astounding flaming epiglottis, Opus 1."
I think Eric would really dig this piece. Have you sent it to Spectronics? It's really terrific!
except shaker and triangle everything is coming from the acoustic bass sounds in Triian. I made a bassdrum from the sound of knocking against the bass body etc
@jclittrel Yes, you can drop any midi pattern. I use their STylus RMX vst to drag and drop grooves to Omni's env!! It's a pretty bad ass way of syncing beats with instruments.
I can't stop listening this music.. Really really great and one of the better Trillian demos available. Congrats !

Really nice composition. Did you have to do a lot of tweaking after you had recorded to get the bends etc?
davec271 1 year ago
@davec271 Thanks! Dient take much tweakinng. The bends are velocity triggered. I dient Even use any keyswitches if i remember correctly

I freaking love this!
Is it true that any midi pattern can be dropped into Omni or Trilian to make an envelope?
Have you played with this feature?
jclittrel 11 months ago
@jclittrel yes it is a very powerful feature-i use it quite often. makes creating complex envelopes a walk in the park
