@MrSkylargamer Yes, but Karate Kid on the NES was mainly focused on Karate Kid Part II. However, about this game, the NES version is better by a long shot.

those cut-off low res "big hall" digitized sounds are just... it does not fit the game... plus I am missing some realtime generated music at the background... something you would hear in C-64 games like International Karate etc... here it is just one sample being played over and over and the game feels just... empty...

A friend of mine had this as original, but the disk was corrupted. Guru Meditated after beating the final battle.

Okay, even though this is an OCS only, 1987 title, graphically, especially when it comes to the sprites, this game looks like something the Commodore 64 could pull off, especially in it's later life [1992 - 1995]. I can only ask myself, WTF were they thinking!? The OCS chipset could pull up much better graphics than this, especially on those sprites!

@Chaniyth I think they were just exceptionally happy they actually produced a Karate Kid game that was better than the horrid original nes title... boy this game was fucken hard, but at least it was a karate game worth the "karate kid" franchise license, unlike the original.

I never played this before. I have mixed feelings about it. The ice break looked a little cool. The fighting scenes are too generic. Kind of cool backgrounds though. Overall crappy game.
