first when was the last time you saw jds on the ground?.JDS is not just more powerful punchers,he has longer reach advantage,he is faster and stronger..cain could win on the ground,but I say we didnt see jds on the ground for a long..so I think that jds wins.

@chrisgarcia21 yup, junior can beat brock. why? carwin was beating the fuck out of him easily until he gassed. JDS has much sharper hands than carwin. he's not quite as powerful, but he has enough to inflict major damage on anybody. i've only seen him taken down once in the UFC, by multiple-time ADCC grappling champion and 260 pound BJJ black belt gabriel gonzaga, and he stood back up instantly with no problem whatsoever. cigano will rape brock with the bristly end of a broom.

@kr4yzi32k agree'd on the cain part but I'd like to see santos more, carwin and cain have very similar styles but carwin gasses too easily, he may have changed that with carwin 2.0 though so we never know, but I love JDS speed

@sage4000 I know JDS is a great fighter, but I just can't see him getting up if Carwin hits him. If carwin's cardio is up to par, it is going to be a tough tough fight for JDS.

But if it goes passed the halfway mark of the first round its out of Shane's hands Carwin has never been in a fight with a brawler long enough to take any real damage, along side him getting gassed (which he has lost 25 lbs and says he has better cardio but the weight cut could work against him) JDS speed and versatility will stop Carwin.

And, I'm taking Carwin because of points made earlier, and because I want to see him regain his confidence after the Lesnar loss.

@kr4yzi32k nunes vs ken flo is either way with me, would honestly like to see kenny vs aldo but for some reason don't see him getting past nunes, I'm excited about Sam Stout, Yves most recent fight was against Cody Mckenzie whom was 12-0 his first fight was TKO and all 11 after that were Guillotines in the first round and Yves Submitted him. Meanwhile Sam Stout has 5 fight of the night honors so that is a fight I'm looking forward to.

dos santos can think he is faster then lesnar but he sure as hell isnt brock lesnar is strong huge athletic and extremely muscular and yet on the ground he moves like he is a lightweight and he comes in at 265 thats insane dos santos would get killed

you serious? no offense to lesnar, but his striking is not very good, great wrestler and strong though, has bad hands and couldnt stand with Mir.
Dos santos has finished all of his fights, all KO and strike subs, he may be much smaller than lesnar, but has fast, heavy hands, accurate, way better striking.
Lesnar beat herring by decision. I mean no offense to other fighters though, i could not do any better than they and i have no say in what will happen.

@madPop511 doesnt matter dos santos would get taken down by lesnar easy enough then lesnar would ground and pound him until he is out cold if you need anymore proof go look at frank mir's face from the second lesnar fight and also when mir caught lesnar with a muay thai knee lesnar got shook but immediatly went back to being calm dos santos would never beat brock

@wrestleman90 Not sure about that. You said look at Frank Mir face...well, Junior is faster than Frank and i think hits harder than THAT frank mir that Lesnar fought.
Brock has good wrestling and is strong guy but his stand up is not that great. Dos Santos is known to have good takedown defense and good hips to get out of ground situations. unfortunately for Lesnar, the fight starts standing up which automatically gives advantage tooooo Dos Santos!

@gooberhead81 ROFL, good hips isnt going to stop a Brock Lesnar takedown; you need to wrestle for about 25 years, 1/4 of that time at the highest level of competition and still be the champ for that. What Lesnar did in collegiate wrestling is no joke and is way more competitive than Kickboxing, BJJ etc because wrestling is integrated into schools worldwide. If you wish to beat him, you must learn how to fight off your back, because Brock has only done that a few years,

@TheGr8one1022 His wrestling is good but there are alot of things a strong guy like Junior Dos Santos can do to avoid take-downs. I'm not taking anything away from Brock. He's big, strong guy with good wrestling but wrestlers aren't invincible. Also, I always say this...but the fight starts standing up, which means Brock has to FIND a takedown first and he might get tagged trying to do so. Just because wrestling is in schools, doesn't make it more competitive O_o Silly to think that way.

@TheGr8one1022 The people who go out and seek boxing or muay thai schools etc...Have equal amount of competition and dangerous potential fighters because they went out and FOUND the school and paid for it. Just because wrestling is in schools, doesn't mean it's better than anything else. and no...if you want to beat brock, learn to reverse wrestle and keep it standing. Being on the ground with a big guy isn't intelligent fighting. but eh...that's just my philosophy. "Keep the big guy off of you"
