Ah I love your videos (: I'm so happy, I've been trying to learn to knit on my own and your careful instruction has been so helpful to me. It helps when you go slowly and I'm really able to see how you're doing your stitches. Excellent.
Thank you for this video. I really appreciate the clear, step by step instructions. Especially how best to hold work and needle in your hands. My technique is much smoother now. I am looking forward to learning from your other videos.
Thank you so much for making these videos. I have watched many other knitting help videos on youtube and yours are, for me, the best by far! Please continue uploading them :)
I sadly don't knit like this :( My needle goes to the front when I knit to purl my needle goes in the back I mean I get the same look as they're supposed to but I just don't know what the style is called, if you know please tell me I'm dying to know
NO offfense but this didnt really help me at all I MEAN like in the first part its good but when you fo the left needle and remove your loop you need to explain it more!!!!!!!!!!!!
ive been taking the needle in from the back instead of the front, and right to left instead of left to right, that made my knitting messy. now its better!
I do love your videos, you give info that non of the other videos give. I am new to knitting and the info about keeping the right stitches low on the needles and the left ones higher is so helpful!! It creates a neater look....Thank you
hi! I know i'm doing these stiches right but I cant understand why I start off with 8,,but on down the line once ive knitted some i turn up with like 10, then 12, then on and on, what am i doing wrong?
There are many reasons why your stitch count might increase:
-- you're not removing the worked stitch from the left needle after having completed it
-- you're working into the space between the stitches (I did this a lot when I started out)
-- you're making an accidental 'yarn over', i.e., you're bringing the yarn around to the front of the needle and over it again before working the next stitch, which makes a hole in the fabric
It's hard to give concrete advice without seeing it. Good luck!
Good video, once again...tanks fro showing me how to knit the correct way. I have no idea how I managed to knit things before, without doing the correct stitches, and still making it look presentable.
u explain this very well.. anyone can learn from u.. thnk u!

You might be knitting too tightly. When I first started, that was my big problem.
