  • Don't understand this guy, he says this but he voted very strongly for the Iraq war and voted moderately against an investigation into the Iraq war.

  • @blehface3000

He also said "The biggest political mistake of my life was over the Iraq war". Since being sacked in 2003, he came out with different views.

I don't pretend to know his intentions deep down.

  • @PersianPaladin oh right, thanks

  • I was just surprised at the event so much that as far as I can remember right now, I don't think I questioned the official story. Back when I was in middle school.

The government has always lied to the people. It's in our history books. How is our generation any different?

I'm glad I'm not a gullible fool as far as that is concerned, anymore.

  • He speaks on what are, to me, an ordinary guy, OBVIOUS! As a former member of the UK military, I always thought the `war on terror` was bullshit and that, further, 9/11 was POSSIBLY orchestrated by `unseen influences` as the pre text to launch such wars in order to curcumvent the checks and balances of the US Constitution that would have ordinarilly prevented such unlimited power to the Executive Branch. Peak oil is a fact, at least as far as I`m convinced of it!

  • What's even more staggering than what Michael is saying is the fact that the worlds media are not saying it themselves. And if they are you certainly don't here it in the uk press. If you watch the four part interview on YouTube with meacher he says how there was no parliamentary debate about going to war in irak Which in itself stinks of cover up. I thought the whole point of a democracy was you have a reasoned debate then act accordingly after reviewing the facts or is that not how we do it n

  • We can know the fact that NIST always ridiculously dodges all the controlled demolition evidence using fallacious reasoning. You just have to learn the fallacies and learn what NIST claims.

We Have the Results and Only We Have the Results (15 minutes)

    watch?v=iQdJuQLNFCk

  • Well put Micheal I whole heartily concur with your opinion! If you want to recall in 99 a golfer was flying past the white house in a Cessna and getting very close to it when he was intercepted but 2 F-16 in a matter of 5 to 10 mins and escorted out of the area.On 9/11 a bunch of idiots take a plane and conveniently crash them into there targets and norrad was asleep with there dicks in there hands at the time?Give me a fukin break please.I thought the US of A was better then that?

  • If the past has proven anything, it's that people in power will do absolutely ANYTHING with impunity, whether or not it works out in history or not., The powers that be will sometimes act in ways that seem insane to the people being governed. The old basic tenant "man dominates man to his own injury".

  • Remember, "Energy can be changed from one form to another, but it cannot be created or destroyed." Fossil fuel is sunlight energy, many years of sunlight stored in a concentrate form. The earth cannot support todays populations without the energy that hydrocarbons provide. Get real now, where will that energy come from? No alternatives near to working yet. That's the rub, everything is theory or "planned" up to now. That fact could prove death to 5 billion people or so.

  • Christ on a bike! I'm surprised this man is still alive. He must be the last good labour politician. The others have all snuffed it; Mo Mowlem, Tony Banks, John Smith, Robin Cook..Maybe this guy is next..

  • @WarrenCromartie2 Dennis Skinner... :')

  • Woo! Michael Meacher is my MP for Oldham West and Royton, I agree with everything here and glad that he spoke up about it :)

    You get my vote everytime!

  • These allegations are more fantastic than :

    a) Bringing peace to Iraq

    b) Bringing democracy to Afghanistan

    c) Removing the Taleban

    d) Getting Osama Bin Laden?

I dont think so. Peak Oil is the only reason. Oil runs out by 2050 and 80% of it is in Iraq, Iran and Saudi. By 2015 the US will have a catastrophic shortage according to the latest US Military reports.

We are in a Mad Max scenario...

  • PNAC is an interesting read too

  • @dvalentino007

Michael Meacher mentions PNAC in his article.

  • For god's sakes, just read "The Grand Chessboard" by Zbigniew Brzezinski. Of course he's serious!

  • I miss BBC news, I didn't know Meacher wrote this. It's what people don't want to talk about: THE BLEEDING OBVIOUS !

People are being played for fools.

    Thanks for posting.

  • BBC is Nazi propagandist today and terrorist cell /corporation already 1953. BBC = UK GOV
