Off road driving is STILL forbidden in Iceland. You can NOT drive wherever you want and you have to get a licence for a competition like this one and this is a special closed circuit for the competition. You can get a very heavy fine if you drive off road in Iceland and also get into a lot of trouble with the law if you do it.

not true. driving outside roads is strictly forbidden. these races are all held within special circuits, in specific areas. the trucks have up to 1200 horsepower and are great at this sort of driving, but yeah they look pretty bad, but they work.

see i thought the same things at first, but i forgot that the lotus has an aluminum subframe, and believe me i know by experience that when you toss around a car with an aluminum subframe repeatedly after a while your car makes a really really strange creaking noise on normal drives. that AND think of ride quality, cost to repaid parts, the noise!(everybody loves a loud v8), and finally, you can't look like a bigger douche bag driving a fast mustang haha. thanks for the back up though man.

Defy pretty much means to resist or confront with resistance. Therefore, by going against the force of gravity while driving up hill could it not be said to be defying gravity?
