before PS3 came out, rarely any PC's had a blu-ray drive as they were more expensive then PS3's

yh the exclusive technology is the cell.
thats the reasony why in games like heavenly sword and killzone 2 theres tons of AI (enemies) on screen at once.
then you look at gears of war and ur fighting like 5 ppl max on screen at once.
apart from AI, the cell can also carry out more physics calculations.
PC could do way better but the devs who produce exclusives for PC are stupid and just want their money.

i dont care how many exclusives each console has.
i care about the quality, id rather get 10 good exclusives then 100 mediocre/bad ones.
xbox exclusives dont match PS3 standards.
halo is old and online mode has shit graphics.
gears is only 10 players....and thats xbox's best recent game.
and games dont fit 1000 AI at once.....it would be impossible to see. they only do that in cut-scenes where no AI is required.
and killzone fits a lot of ppl in buildings, turrets, behind cover, ect.

but the point is that since 2008, PS3 has started to get the better games and since day 1, its had the better hardware.
graphics can be argued but the cell is definatly better.

lol. well i went to a comic-con and crytek was showing off their new engine making it possible to run crysis tech on the consoles. they said the cryengine 3 is pushing the graphics almost to the limits of both the ps3 and 360. meaning in one comment that was said, "360 cant handle killzone 2 graphics" has been proven verry wrong. cryengine 3 demo is running technology killzone 2 cant stack up to. and even modern warfare 2 is challenging killzone 2 in every aspect of the game. graphics, gameplay

jus look at chrome engine 4 or cryengine 3 demo running on consoles. even tho modern warfare is third party, its running on both consoles and that is looking jus as clean if not really close to killzone. cryengine 3's demo for xbox 360 is cutting edge graphics and is the best looking for the consoles. to me, crysis has too many bugs and could be better gameplay wise, buh there is not one game u can say that looks better than it. and the cryengine 3 running on 360 looks just as good as crysis.

lmfao fixed cost will increase.....and they havent even made a significant return from the existing PS3.
they cant just keep spending money until they do make a return, they have to make the most of what they got before they start a new project.
and secondly if they ditch all the PS3 customers then no-one will buy the PS4. Sony has a 10 year life long policy and they treat the customers fairly.

it cant handle killzone, ive seen a ton of interviews and in one of them the developers said its impossible to carry out the same environmental physics without using the cell processor.
anyways even if xbox could handle it, i would get it because IT DOES NOT HAVE KILLZONE 2. or MGS4. or gran turismo. or god of war 3. or resistance. or uncharted. or motorstorm. or heavy rain. or MAG.

gotcha. the cell processor just doesnt produce as fast as its 360 counterpart. that kind of technology can cause shortages in electric energy. lol. thats y sometimes, u hear about ps3s causing power surges.haha. n yea. some of those games u mentioned are also a matter of opinion. uncharted is koo, buh i dnt lyke the first resistance, motor storm, and connected to heavy rain, the xbox 360 is exclusively getting indigo prophecy 2, the game following the same game engine and physics.
