I have so much trouble with my balance doing the samba... I almost fall off the throne, and particularly have trouble getting any power behind 'and' bass drum 16th note, because my left foot is rising at that point... so frustrating! youre a great teacher, by the way

That is really good. I have tried to do but the difficulty is doing somethign diffrent on the bass drum o what your hand is doing for the snares etc..

Excellent playing sir. not a whole lotta drummers these days are as vast and versitile as you as far as your ability to play so many styles so solidified. Everyone these days just wants to play 64th notes at 240 beats per minute on the bass drum. haha. its sad really. anyway, excellent playing.

why are you doing all of those fills and for so long each time? Typical of American influenced drummers - crash and fill everywhere - loses the groove completely.

I think American drummers in the last 2 decades are taught to be obsessed and become robots with rolls and constant, incessant fills - sad. Save the incessant rolls and fills for the solo.

I could play samba but without the finger control with the lefthand, I was born with my fingers deformed so my grip is not normal
